A New Era in Title Deed Transactions Begins on 1 October 2026
The Regulation Amending the Regulation on Real Estate Trade, published in the Official Gazette dated 29 April 2026 and numbered 33238, established the legal framework for the secure payment system in real estate sales. The system regulated under additional Article 1 of the Regulation on Real Estate Trade aims to reduce risks arising from payment and registration processes by ensuring that real estate ownership and the sale price change hands simultaneously.
